(From Riley ovo) "You look a little lost. Do you need directions?"
“Gee,” the princess rolled her eyes. “I wonder HOW YOU COULD POSSIBLY HAVE KNOWN!”
She had to cup a hand around her mouth for that last sentence, shouting over the rushing splash of the small waterfall just behind her. Her other hand was preoccupied with holding her Gible like a football over her head, free from the water that leapt up in white foamy explosions around the rock she was stuck on.
On the other side of the river stood the young girl, quite possibly the same age as herself, or maybe younger - Weena wasn’t in any mood to guess.
"Unless you have a way of getting me out of here, you’re wasting my time."
Talk about one hell of an introduction. It caused Riley to momentarily halt her through processes while her teeth mashed down on her bottom lip.
Her muscles tightened and she hunched as her shoulders drew closer together. Heat prickling at her cheeks, her hands involuntarily went to them as she mouthed, “I didn’t mean to upset you. I’m really sorry.”
She refrained from asking how in the world the strange trainer managed to wind up in such a strange place. Then again, one look at sky trainers and one would happen to think this particular stranger wanted to capitalize on waterfall battles.
Then again, she looked so…
A few seconds passed in her mindful wandering before her eyebrows shot up at the epiphany that electrified her brain. “R-right, one rescue mission coming up!”
Scylla, her Azumarill, would certainly delight in the semi-dangerous waters.
